ALTF4 RP Japan is a Japanese-language FiveM roleplay server that opened on July 31, 2026. It arrived as the Japanese-language version of a server that has been operated overseas, and it carries several original systems such as skill trees and a tutorial. GTA6 FEED reported on it and records the facts we were able to observe. Below, we separate the confirmed information we verified from the items we could not confirm.

Basic Information

  • Concept: the Japanese-language version of a large overseas FiveM RP server. According to the server's own announcement, it has more than 20,000 Discord members and has been running overseas for years
  • How to join: you enter through the official Discord. There is no application to join, but Steam must be running in order to connect
  • Concurrent players: 42 (observed at 23:00 on July 31, 2026). The observation fell on opening day, and quite a few people were unable to get in. The slot cap is 150, but because there are many original systems the data download takes time, so depending on connection speed and PC specs it can take a while to get in. A well-known streamer is also listed as an ambassador for the server, so the player count is likely to grow
ALTF4's card in the server list. Under the heading "ALTF4 ▶ the first overseas mega-server to land in Japan ▶ opens 7/31 ▶ beginners welcome" is a description saying a large overseas server with more than 20,000 Discord members is landing in Japan, opening 22:00 Friday July 31, with serious roleplay, active businesses, in-house gang and job systems, original clothing, and over 1,000 vehicles. The player count 42/150 and a Japanese flag sit at the lower left, with Connect and Upvote buttons below

Atmosphere of the City

The map's landmark list has 114 entries registered for the urban area, and 142 for the wider area including Paleto. There is an island on the north side of the map.

The city map screen. Job and shop icons are scattered over numbered blocks, and the right side lists landmarks (1/114) such as ALTF4 Customs, ALTF4 Aviation, VIP Barbershop, VIP Clothing Store, Walker Logistics, Off-road Vehicle Rental, Casino, Gasolin LTD, Garbage Collection, and Golf

The hospital building is large and easy to identify from the outside.

Other players' positions are shown on the map. Animals such as cows and cougars are also placed around the world.

Economy and Jobs

Jobs are taken from the "Job" app on the smartphone. The jobs we could confirm are Logistics, beekeeping, hunting, electrician, Mining, garbage collection, fishing, lumberjacking, trucking, Pressure Washing, and gardening.

Each job has a proficiency track (a skill tree). Beekeeping, for example, starts at "Apprentice Beekeeper," and as you accumulate experience you are promoted to "Journeyman," which raises the payout multiplier on honey and wax sales, among other effects.

The beekeeping page opened in the smartphone's Job app. Under the description "Nature / Beekeeping — manage bee hives outdoors and produce honey and wax," the proficiency reads "Apprentice Beekeeper 0%" (0 xp, 200 xp to Journeyman), and the level list shows Apprentice Beekeeper at 0 exp and Journeyman at 200 exp with "+1% honey and wax sale payout multiplier"
The skill tree screen. Tabs across the top read "Civilian — survival, crafting, community support" and "Criminal — underworld activity and criminal organizations," with five columns of skill nodes chained vertically below. The right panel shows "Focus: none" and "Skill info: click a node to see details"

As for restaurants, we could not find a player-staffed shop during our visit. Food can, however, be bought at Burger Shot.

First Spawn and the Opening Moves

This server's first-spawn format is distinctive. When you join, you start inside a room of a home you already own, and you can customize the room right there. You leave the room, take the elevator down to the lobby, and outside the building there is a rental car NPC.

The interior of the player's apartment. On the left, "Welcome to ALTF4, 1/9 — Make it your home / Set up a wardrobe and a storage container" is shown, followed by the steps: (1) open the furniture placement menu in the apartment, (2) place a storage box (stash), (3) place a wardrobe (for changing clothes)

The rental car NPC standing outside the building on the sidewalk along Carre Avenue, marked by a purple cylinder. The tutorial display on the left reads "Get moving / Rent your first vehicle, 2/9," with 5 m to go

Progression follows a nine-step tutorial. Each step is guided by GPS, and in order you work through things like "rent your first vehicle," "visit the hospital," and "get food at Burger Shot." After renting a car, the flow takes you to city hall to receive your starting funds. Because the tutorial is there, even a first-time player can get through without getting lost.

The game menu opened with the ESC key. Tabs for Home, Guide, Store, Rankings, and Info run across the top, with a map of the airport area and an "Open map" button under quick access, and Settings, Customize HUD, and Disconnect in the actions panel on the right. The "Get moving / Rent your first vehicle" tutorial display is still visible on the left

An office inside city hall. A "Objective complete — Receive funds, +100 XP, +$1,000 citizen grant" flourish is displayed in the center, a notification on the right says $30,000 has been received as the bank starting balance, and on the desk in front are the options "[E] Request starting funds" and "Request citizen card"
The starting inventory screen. Only three slots are filled — a classic phone, $5,825 in cash, and a Fresh Meat card — with the rest empty
The detail view of a box of chocolates selected in the inventory. The description reads that it is used to lift your mood (restoring hunger and thirst to full and setting armor to 100), alongside a weight of 0.5 kg and an expiry of 29d

The tutorial can be skipped with /skiptutorial, but skipping it means you do not receive the completion rewards.

Rental car prices at the time of our visit were Panto $175, Pigalle $200, and Mesa $250, all per day.

Public Safety Structure

We confirmed that police and EMS are active.

As for criminal activity, a heist cannot be started within 30 minutes before or after a server restart (RR).

Crime and Gangs

Heists are split across six levels, each with a defined number of players required. Within what we could confirm:

  • Level 1: store robbery (2), house robbery (2), ATM (2), vehicle theft / boosting (4)
  • Level 2: Vangelico (4), Fleeca bank (6), train heist (6)
  • Level 3: Artifact (8), Sandy bank (8), Rocks In Socks (4)
  • Level 4: Pacific bank (8), Humane Labs (8)
  • Level 5: Bobcat facility (10), Cayo Perico heist (12), Union heist (12), underground heist (12)
  • Level 6: casino heist (16)

For gangs, the roster cap is set at 25 members. The published rules require that activity in the city put roleplay ahead of gunplay.

Crafting and Economic Foundations

There is no recycling center, but you can obtain materials by digging through trash cans around the city. Materials we obtained included bags of dried cannabis, empty bags, broken bottles, and weed seeds, and some of them were items with an expiry date that are subject to police confiscation.

The inventory holding materials pulled from the trash: four bags of dried cannabis, an empty bag, a broken bottle, three weed seeds, and more. The detail panel for the bag of dried cannabis notes that it is subject to police confiscation and has an expiry of 19d

Weapon crafting is divided into basic weapon parts crafting and advanced weapon parts crafting.

Note also that when you rob a weapon off someone, the weapon is broken down and only parts remain. The same applies when you take a weapon from a teammate, and the operators have stated explicitly that this is intended behavior, not a bug.

As for car parts manufacturing, material supply to mechanics, and how the buyback system actually operates, we did not confirm these at the time of our visit.

Trying Beekeeping

Among the jobs, we tried beekeeping. It starts by talking to a beekeeper NPC over toward Mount Chiliad. You first have to buy equipment; prices at the time of our visit were a bee house at $2,000, a bee hive at $2,250, thymol (a treatment for hive infections) at $250, and a bee smoker at $1,500.

The Purchase Beekeeping Equipment screen, listing Buy Bee House – $2000 (a bee house to collect workers and queens), Buy Bee Hive – $2250 (to start producing honey and wax), Buy Thymol – $250 (a treatment for hive infections), and Buy Bee Smoker – $1500 (calms bees before harvesting), plus Return to Main Menu
The inventory after buying the equipment. Alongside the classic phone, $17,775 in cash, the Fresh Meat card, a Citizen Card, and a box of chocolates sit a bee house, a bee hive, thymol, and a Bee Smoker

During our visit, however, we could not work out how to proceed after buying the equipment and never got the job started. If you are taking on an original job on a first visit, starting from a job you already have experience with on other servers may be an easier way in.

Character Creation and Beginner Guidance

Character creation uses an original system, and on your first time you start from this screen. As described above, you then start inside a room of your own home and proceed along the tutorial.

The character selection screen. A character stands against a rooftop lounge, with a slot-adding + button and left/right switch arrows at the upper right, and a key list on the right: radial menu F1, emotes F3, vehicle controls F6, skill tree F7, inventory TAB, phone M, radio MB5, voice N
The "Create Character - Slot 1" registration dialog, with fields for Personal Details (First Name / Last Name), Birth Information (Month / Day / Year), and Character Information (Nationality: Japanese / Gender: Male, Female / Pronouns), plus Cancel and Create Character buttons

Other

There is a casino. It is also registered in the map's landmark list.
