Will GTA6 Get a Collector's Edition? — With Nothing Official Yet, Reading the Leaks and Past Releases
Pre-orders for GTA6 have opened, but right now only two editions are available — Standard and Ultimate — and a Collector's Edition (CE) packed with figures and merch is nowhere to be seen. Among fans, the dominant view is that “it'll come later,” but there is no official announcement from Rockstar whatsoever. What it rests on is leaks and the precedent of past games. GTA6 FEED has organized this into confirmed facts, leaks, and speculation.

Confirmed: No CE Has Been Announced at This Point
First, the facts. The editions Rockstar has officially announced are only two — Standard ($79.99) and Ultimate ($99.99) — and a Collector's Edition does not exist. Neither the official site nor the store mentions a CE.
Another premise worth grasping is the handling of physical discs. According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, there is no plan to produce GTA6 discs at launch or afterward. Therefore, even if a CE were to appear later, its contents would most likely be a “download code plus physical merch” rather than a disc.
Incidentally, Take-Two CEO Zelnick saying in a CNBC interview in May that GTA6 has a “big physical component” fueled expectations for a lavish CE. However, while that remark was taken at the time to hint at a disc version or a CE, it later became clear it referred to a “physical version = code-in-a-box package.” It is also a lesson that reading more than face value into an executive's remarks is unwise.
Leaks / Rumors: Information Suggesting a CE Exists (Unconfirmed)
From here on is unconfirmed information. Supporting the view that a CE will eventually appear are mainly the following three.
The FNAC (Portugal) SKU leak. Before pre-orders opened, multiple SKUs that looked like internal codes — RS1 through RS5 — were temporarily listed on Portugal's FNAC site. Prices such as €89.99, €99.99, €109.99, €119.99, and €199.99 lined up, and the top €199.99 was interpreted as possibly being the CE and widely reported. The fact that these listings correctly carried November 19, 2026 as the release date was taken with a certain weight, as being unusually accurate for a placeholder. However, the list has already been removed, neither FNAC nor Rockstar has commented on its veracity, and billbil_kun, well-regarded for retail leaks, has pointed out the possibility of a placeholder. It was first spotted by ResetEra users and the Portuguese community.
Ricfazeres's testimony. Ricfazeres, a YouTuber with a track record in Portugal, mentioned in a video — citing sources — that the CE has not been announced yet but does exist, and that the price is €199.99. He did not get into specific contents, and since he mentioned it casually near the end of the video and moved on to the next topic, it was taken as a delivery different from view-baiting hype. Outlets such as OpenCritic also picked it up as coming from a “reliable source.” Still, this remains the unbacked testimony of a single person.
The multiple-editions theory. The leaker DetectiveSeeds says GTA6 has up to six purchase options, including digital/physical Standard, a premium digital version with early access and GTA Online currency, and a CE containing physical merch (an art book, a map, a steelbook, etc.).
All of these are unconfirmed, and not one of them is settled.
Speculation: If It Comes, When, How Much, and What's Inside
As predictions based on confirmed information, the following points are often discussed. These are speculation only.
Timing. In the past, Rockstar often announced CEs later than the standard edition. RDR2's CE also had pre-orders begin several months after the standard and higher-tier editions. For this reason, the leading scenario is that for GTA6 too, a CE will be announced amid the marketing that ramps up in summer, or around the time of release.
Price. Figures like $200–300, or around €199.99–229.99, often come up. Among recent AAA titles, it is not unusual for top-tier CEs with figures and large art books to exceed $250, so a GTA6 CE landing in this band is not unnatural in itself. However, given the no-disc policy, the value-for-money issue remains: “you pay a high price and there's still no playable disc inside.”
Contents. Predicted items include a steelbook, an art book, a map of Vice City, figures of Lucia and Jason, neon- and 80s-themed merch, a Rockstar-staple lockbox-type item, and digital bonuses such as extra vehicles. However, there are still almost no concrete leaks about the contents, and confirmed information is essentially zero.
How Past GTA / Rockstar Titles Did It (Confirmed Facts)
The biggest basis for the view that a CE will come is Rockstar's track record of repeatedly releasing deluxe editions. All of these are facts based on official announcements.
- GTA IV Special Edition (2008): around $90 at the time (about £70 in the UK). Bundled an art book, a soundtrack CD, a lockable lockbox, a Rockstar keychain, a limited duffel bag, and more.
- GTA V Special Edition ($79.99): a steelbook using limited art of Michael, Trevor, and Franklin; a blueprint map of Los Santos and Blaine County; in-game bonuses (a boost that fills the special-ability meter 25% faster, stunt flying, additional outfits, tattoos, and weapons, etc.).
- GTA V Collector's Edition ($149.99): everything in the Special Edition plus a lockable security bag (money bag), a New Era GTA V snapback cap, Collector's-exclusive vehicles (Hotknife, Carbon RS, etc.) and a dedicated garage.
- RDR2 Collector's Box (2018): not including the base game, a metal box and merch fitting the world (a challenge coin, a bandana, a treasure map, a pin badge, playing cards, etc.).
What they share is a structure combining a steelbook and theme-appropriate physical merch with in-game digital bonuses, and CEs often appeared later. These also tend to sell out at launch and have their secondhand prices spike afterward. The fan and media read is that a similar pattern can be expected for GTA6.

Confirmed facts:

Community voices, too, mix expectation and cooled-off views.
- “Even just a steelbook is fine — I wish they'd put out a mid-tier special edition.”
- “If it's in the ¥20,000s and doesn't even include a disc, it's questionable whether I can pay that much for merch.”
As a caveat, GTA6 is unreleased at the time of writing, and a CE has not been officially announced. Lists like FNAC's may be placeholders, and even a “reliable source” can be wrong. Beware also of scams on unofficial sites that demand pre-orders or deposits in the name of a CE. Even if there is an announcement, based on past examples it is expected to come during the summer-onward marketing or around release.
